…actually, sometimes it is. Sometimes it’s as easy as looking at all the things you’ve accumulated over the past year and wondering what on earth you’re going to do with 25 ringbinders, sheets that only fit your uni bed and 14 teaspoons…
The answer is simple: donate them to ReUse! This student project collects your unwanted items and donates them to students in need and one of our local charities, Hospiscare. From stationery and books to kitchenware and bedding, they want your unwanted items – help them out!
Ask your residence team to find out where your nearest donation point is.
If you want to get more involved, volunteer within your residence, and play your part in the continuing success of ReUse!
We are looking for volunteers to work with our current team to help separate and sort items for charity collection. Volunteers are needed from 20th May till 16th September; but anyone that has a few weeks spare during this time would be very welcome.
Contact Russell at and find out how you can help.
So, what are you waiting for? Get involved, and make a difference to new students, Hospiscare and the environment!
