What to do over the bank holiday

Accepting an offer of accommodation
Offers which are being sent out today will have either a 5 day expiry date. The expiry date is the date in which students are required to accept the accommodation offer by and pay the £300.00 deposit. We have created a useful video to show you how to accept an offer of accommodation.

Paying a deposit
If you have accepted your offer of accommodation and are due to pay your accommodation deposit, please note that it can take up to two working days for a deposit to be processed on our system and therefore within your accommodation account it will show as “awaiting deposit” until this goes through. With the weekend and the bank holiday, this may take a little longer so please bear with us and hopefully for those of you have paid between Friday 26 – Monday 29 August, you should receive a confirmation email from us by Wednesday 2 September.

Your offer will not expire as long as you have accepted the contract. If you have not received a confirmation email after three days, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Bank Holiday information
With the bank holiday weekend approaching, please note that the Accommodation Team are not available during this time and if you are sending an it will be answered from Tuesday onwards. We will be available from Tuesday 30 August and can be contacted by telephoning 0300 555 0444 between 8:30am-6:00pm.

We will have scheduled posts going out on our University of Exeter Accommodation Facebook page throughout this time, however, this page will only be managed by staff from Tuesday 30 August between 9:00am-5:00pm.
