Call for Papers

We are delighted to announce the Call for Papers for the Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in Ancient History 2020 to be held at the University of Exeter on the 20th-21st of March.

AMPAH brings together the postgraduate community whose work relates to ancient cultures across the world. This conference provides a collegiate environment where postgraduates (MA, MRes, MPhil, PhD and equivalent) can present and discuss their research and act as a space for peers to network.

Keynote Speakers

We invite abstracts of up to 200 words for:

  • individual 20 minute papers
  • panel proposals; these should also include individual abstracts for up to three speakers
  • lightning talks (5 minute work in progress papers)

Applicants should submit abstracts plus a short biographical note of 100 words, and 5 keywords to by Sunday 12th January 2020. Final decisions, and details about the registration process, will be communicated by mid-January 2020. All other enquiries should also be directed to this email address.
