New J Physiol paper online now

Our new paper describing the control of seizure-like behaviour in entorhinal cortex brain slice is now available online.

In this study we used multi-electrode recording probes to measure the slow spread ictal-like activity from the ventral to the dorsal medial entorhinal cortex. We propose that differential levels of inhibition and intrinsic neuronal excitability across this structure constrains the spread of hypersynchronous activity.
