As part of our commitment to promoting apprenticeships, Jonathan Cresswell (Head of Apprenticeships) has become our University Apprenticeships Champion.
The Apprenticeships Champion network is part of the Governments Apprenticeships initiative and covers organisations across the U.K.
An Apprenticeship Champion:
- Positively promotes apprenticeships in a variety of ways to inspire students, teachers, parents and governors.
- Encourages students of all abilities to consider apprenticeships as a viable and successful route into a career.
- Creates opportunities for students to engage with employers and apprentice ambassadors.
- Uses the available resources to promote awareness raising, publicity and encourage inclusion at events.
- Follows the latest developments and opportunities to support students with fresh and accurate information.
