Apprenticeships at the University

As at 30 Jan 18 the University of Exeter have 35 apprentices (at levels 2 to 6) employed in 12 of our colleges/services, across 3 campuses, 2 counties! We have seen 27 new apprenticeship starts since 1 May 17, which equates to 3.5% of all new starts across the university and is a 170% increase on last year’s apprentice numbers!

Age ranges of our apprentices:

  • Mean (Average) = 25
  • Median = 21
  • Mode = 20
  • Age range = currently between 16 and 58 years old. Our apprenticeship are open to anyone over the age of 16

Higher and Degree Vacancies

With nearly 4000 vacancies, the listing of higher and degree apprenticeship vacancies is continuing to grow. The listing will be updated on an annual basis so that students can continue to benefit from applying a year early.

Live Broadcast

The University of Exeter Live Broadcast will take place on 5 Mar 18 between 09:30-10:00 on the first day of National Apprenticeship Week. Click here to register your School, College, University or yourself.

Also several exciting new companies including the IT giant Microsoft have been added to the calendar of live broadcasts for the coming months. Severn Trent Water, Clarkson Evans and GSK have also been added to the line-up of broadcasts. For the full schedule and to register, please click here.
