The economics faculty at Exeter is a vibrant, diverse group of academics all of whom are passionate about their particular area. There are more than 29 members from many countries around the world and within that, experts in econometrics and experimental economics, public economics, international trade, labour and capital markets and decision making under uncertainty and risk. Many of them are international leaders in their field; they advise policy makers both in the UK and abroad and are working with organisations such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations (UN) helping to ‘develop real world economic policy’.
