We are based at the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter, Cornwall.
Our research focusses on the behaviour of metals in the environment, particularly how metals interact with minerals and microbes.
We study mine wastes and mine tailings to understand their environmental impact and develop remediation technologies.
We investigate new ways of sustainable mining, including in situ mining, bioprocessing and resource recovery from waste.
