Overview

Early menopause (before the age of 45) can happen to 1 in 10 women and is difficult to predict. It may only be identified when women seek help with fertility problems, which can then make treatment difficult.

A team of scientists from the University of Exeter Medical School, led by Dr Anna Murray, are hoping to develop a test that would combine genetic and lifestyle information to predict early menopause, many years before it actually happens.

This site will post news about the project, how you can get involved with the research and our findings.
