What were your main duties and responsibilities during the course of your internship?

My main role was to coordinate administration for the Athena Swan project for women in science. I communicated the principles of the initiative to academic and professional staff, wrote reports, and conducted data analysis for the University’s submission.

What would you say was your biggest achievement over the course of your internship?

My GBP placement gave me the opportunity to develop a project for the University and take on responsibility in areas where I had no previous experience. I’ve enjoyed working on a range of activities from organising events, to promotional presentations and report writing.
