ExLab meeting, Durlston

A foggy day in Swanage. The cliffs, sea, castle, everything had disappeared, the sounds of birds muffled. But inside the education centre at Durlston Country Park, things were buzzing. Those involved with ExLab (http://exlabproject.wordpress.com/) had come together to discuss progress.

All 5 artists presented their work, based in different landscapes along the Dorset stretch of the Jurassic Coast. Good discussions got underway: about the coast; the nature of ‘art’ and ‘science’ collaboration; digital recording; and much more. It reflected the enthusiasm and interest this coast inspires, and the imagination and talent of all involved.
