Successful Blog Launch with Exeter Mindful Change Agents!

Yesterday was the launch of the Mindful Leaders blog in our wonderful Reed Hall on Campus!

During term 1, Senior Lecturer Dr Inmaculada Adarves-Yorno and Leonie Schueltke supported a group of students to become mindful change agents. As part of their module on Leading Change in Practice, students learned about mindfulness, and then planned and carried out projects which were intended to make a difference at the University. Their ideas and actions are amazing!

Students enjoyed a great lunch while the blog was launched and presented to them for the first time. The lunch was organised by our project manager Sharon Gove and supported by the interim Associate Dean of Education, David Boughey.

After lunch, three out of nine projects were presented to David Boughey:

  1. CHANGE: Environmental sustainability and “making each step count”
  2. CHANGE: Raising awareness on Mindfulness and sharing its impact
  3. CHANGE: Enhancing academic student engagement
