Professor Gareth Stansfield was a guest speaker at the Royal College of Defence Studies in March. He spoke to the international officer class on the subject of Saudi Arabia and Gulf Security, as part of the Conflict and Strategy in the Modern World series of lectures. He also gave the yearly lecture on the politics of Iraq to the Advanced Command and Staff Course of the Joint Services Command and Staff College, and presented on the same subject at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, again in March.
