CTTD researches and develops education for skills and dispositions for the whole of life and for a rapidly changing world. We support several projects related to dialogic education with technology and teaching metacognition. The centre is the main research home of the new Masters pathway in ‘Thinking, Creativity and Technology’ led by Dr Judith Kleine Staarman. It also hosts the leading journal in the area: Thinking Skills and Creativity, edited by Professor Rupert Wegerif.
The Centre is also home for the Cognitive Education Development Unit providing research support for an emerging global network of University of Exeter accredited ‘Thinking Schools’.
