As the dust settles on iGEM 2012, I have asked one of the Exeter 2012 team and iGEM blogger for her thoughts on a summer of iGEM.
The Exeter iGEM team recently gained recognition from the top of the University: Sir Steve Smith, University of Exeter Vice-Chancellor came to Biosciences to talk to the students and thank them for all of their hard work over the summer.
A new video introduction to synthetic biology and the iGEM competition has made its way online and though it mainly features the NRP-UEA iGEM team, I’m of course pleased to say that the good folks of the Exeter iGEM team have managed to work their way in there too
Just sneaking in before wiki freeze, the team from Norwich Research Park – University of East Anglia (NRP-UEA iGEM 2012) also managed a product launch: Quanticare Cura Tattoo.
Well the iGEM wiki-freeze is upon us and Team:Exeter managed to put the final touches to their wiki with 9 minutes to spare. Please follow the link (here) or click on the logo below to find out more about their project.
For those in London next week, University College London are hosting a synthetic biology exhibition and Q&A session.
