Eddy CovarianceSaltmarshes

A day on the salt-marsh

A quick dash to the marsh to collect the data and for some TLC. It is approaching 5 years since we first installed the eddy covariance system at the Abbott’s Hall saltmarsh in Essex! Incredibly, the Campbell Scientific Closed Path system has stood up to the tidal inundation, salt laiden air and nesting birds – and the only real issue we have is power during the winter months.
