It’s my life, it’s now or never!

I’m using the song lyrics from the mighty Bon Jovi song to remind you all that it might possibly be now or never because the accommodation guarantee deadline is looming. If you fall within our accommodation guarantee then you need to apply for accommodation by no later than 31 July 2014 in order to be guaranteed a bed space at the University of Exeter. After this date, applications will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis. Please note that if you are an international postgraduate student you will need to have paid your tuition fee deposit prior to being able to make your application for accommodation. For more information on this and our accommodation guarantee please visit our website.

If you are a deferred student or a postgraduate who is starting with us in September 2014 and you have submitted your application for accommodation over a week ago, then stop what you are doing and check your accommodation account to see if we have made you an offer. Seriously, stop reading, check it now, I can’t take the suspense…! We have been busy in the Accommodation Office allocating rooms and are pleased that we are up to date and have been sending many offers out. If you did apply for accommodation as a deferred student or a postgraduate longer than a week ago but have yet to hear from us, then please do contact us and we will look into this for you. If you have applied within the past week, then keep checking your accommodation account to see if your offer has come through yet, if you haven’t heard anything from us by Friday 18 July then get in touch.

So for some of you, I can sense the excitement in the air for it’s GRADUATIONS next week! This is such a joyous time for everyone and we all want to make sure that you have a day to remember. Those of you who don’t fancy travelling up and back in a day, why not consider bed and breakfast on the Streatham Campus? Take a look at Event Exeter to check their availability for this week.Reed Hall Dinner
