With the bank holiday weekend approaching, please note that the Accommodation Team are not available during this time and if you are sending an email to us it will be answered from Tuesday onwards. We will be available from Tuesday 1 September and can be contacted by telephoning 0300 555 0444 between 8:45am – 5:15pm.
Applications received before 31 July
If you applied within our guarantee period and have yet to have your academic place confirmed, we will process your application and allocate you accommodation once we have been updated by our Admissions Team that your academic offer is unconditional.
Accommodation in the City
We have now allocated all of the University accommodation for this year, so students who have applied for accommodation recently will have received an email to advise them that they need to look for private housing within the city. If you are still searching for accommodation for the 2015/16 academic year and would like any updates or further information about the options available, please contact the Accommodation Team.
If you have accepted your offer and are due to pay your accommodation deposit, please note that it can take up to 48 hours for a deposit to be processed on our system and therefore within your accommodation account it will show as “awaiting deposit” until this goes through. With the weekend and the bank holiday, this may take a little longer so please bear with us and hopefully for those of you have paid between Friday 28 – Monday 31 August, you should receive a confirmation email from us by Wednesday 2 September.
Your offer will not expire as long as you have accepted the contract. If you have not received a confirmation email after three days, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you have been nominated to Point Exe, Northfield or The Printworks and are in contact with them then this room will be held for you. Your deposit will need to go directly to them and you also arrange your induction and arrival with them directly.
