Making payments

We have received a number of enquiries from you asking about making payments and when you need to pay your accommodation fees. Please see below for more information:

Accommodation Fees for residences except nominated residences
Accommodation fees are due at the beginning of the academic year either in full or in instalments. Instalments are due on the following days:

  • 21 September 2015 – Term 1
  • 4 January 2016 – Term 2
  • 25 April 2016 – Term 3
  • 13 June 2016 – Term 4 (for students in a 51 week let only)

The amounts and payment dates are outlined in your accommodation offer which is available online. Please see the Student Finance pages for information about penalties for paying late.

Deposit payment
A £300.00 accommodation deposit needed to be paid in order to secure your room booking for 2015/16. This payment is used as a rent reduction for you term 2 and 3 fees, therefore, please remember to reduce your accommodation fees for term 2 by £150.00 and your term 3 accommodation fees by £150.00.

How to pay
There are a number of different ways that payments can be received by the University of Exeter. Please see our ‘how to pay‘ pages for further information.

For further information or to set up a payment plan, please contact our Student Finance team who will be able to help.

Nominated residences
For those of you allocated to our partner accommodation, you will enter into a contract with and make payments to these partners. So if you have been allocated a room at Northfield, Point Exe or The Printworks, please contact the residences teams directly to confirm payment arrangements.

  1. when i click “online” to see to view my accommodation offer for due payments, i can get the following message: 404 – File or directory not found.
    The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

      Thank you for your enquiry. If the error message is still showing, I suggest you contact the accommodation office on 0300 555 0444. We are available this week between 8:45am-5:15pm (Monday and Tuesday) or 9:00am-5:00pm (Wednesday-Friday).
