Accommodation Fees for residences except nominated residences
Accommodation fees are due at the beginning of the academic year either in full or in instalments. Instalments are due on the following days:
- 19 September 2016 – Term 1
- 16 January 2017 – Term 2
- 8 May 2017 – Term 3
- 19 June 2017 – Term 4 (for students in a 51 week let only)
The amounts and payment dates are outlined in your accommodation offer which is available online. Please see the Student Finance pages for information about due dates and when late charges would be incurred.
We understand that the maintenance loan which is paid to students by Student Finance is received on 19 September and many students are querying this. Please ensure that you read the Fees/Finance FAQs within SID which will update you on this. If you require any additional information please email the .
A £300.00 accommodation deposit needed to be paid in order to secure your room booking for 2016/17. This payment is used as a rent reduction for you term 2 and 3 fees, therefore, please remember to reduce your accommodation fees for term 2 by £150.00 and your term 3 accommodation fees by £150.00. For those of you allocated to our partner accommodation, you will enter into a contract with and make payments to these partners. So if you have been allocated a room at Northfield, Point Exe or The Printworks, please contact the residences teams directly to confirm payment arrangements.
