Semester two applications
Applications for students joining us for Semester Two between January-June 2017 are now open. For these students, we are able to offer a limited number of James Owen Court en-suite rooms and applications will be dealt with in date order upon receipt of your application.
Diwali or Deepawali (meaning a row or collection of lamps) is a significant Hindu festival, popularly known as the festival of lights. Diwali is celebrated every year with great joy and enthusiasm by millions around the world. The University of Exeter will be celebrating with a free event on Sunday 30 October 2016 between 3:00pm-6:30pm in the Forum and Great Hall.
There will be several activities, cultural stalls – including Henna painting, face painting, Diya painting and refreshments for all, followed by dance performances and a fireworks display to end our celebration at the XFi Building (Business School).
Save the date and make sure you bring your friends as well as your family to celebrate Diwali 2016 with us! Information can be found on the International Student Support website and within the Facebook event.
The next Residence Life Team event which will soon be available to book is Sunday lunch on 6 November at Birks Grange Village. Tickets are priced at £3.00 and are sure to sell quickly, so please check our website for more information if you would like to come along.
Clocks go back
This Sunday 30 October at 2:00am the clocks are due to go back by an hour to 1:00am. Please ensure that before you all go to sleep you change your clocks in order to gain an extra hour of sleep!!
Student Switch Off
