Apprenticeships Live – University of Exeter - Apprenticeships

Posted by on 21 December 2017

The University of Exeter took part in an Apprenticeships Live broadcast on the first day of National Apprenticeship Week on 5 March 2018 at 09:30.  This is a FREE online event.

These broadcasts are a truly engaging and interactive experience for potential apprentices, students and education staff.  Once you register for the event you will be able to speak directly to our Director of People Services, Head of Apprenticeships and some of our apprentices live via the internet and hear about our latest opportunities, the skills we are looking for, our recruitment process and how you can best prepare yourself for working life and apprenticeships after school or college.

You can view the recording of our live broadcast at https://learnliveuk.com/apprenticeships-live-university-of-exeter/

The session

Are you wanting to kick start your career (get paid) and gain highly sought after skills, qualifications and work experience in a Russell Group University?  Look no further, our apprenticeships at our Devon and Cornwall campuses will give you the skills, confidence and qualifications to join Higher Education’s next generation of professional teams.

Register for our Apprenticeships Live session to find out what working at the University of Exeter as an apprentice is like, and the sort of roles we have.  The session will make a perfect start to your National Apprenticeship Week, #NAW2018.

Join Georgie Rand (Domestic Heating Apprentice – Campus Services), Honor Lovell (Administration Assistant Apprentice – Education & Student Experience), and Jonathan Cresswell (Head of Apprenticeships) for a live Q&A session on our apprenticeships.

Earn while you learn!  Apprenticeships:

  • are an exciting option for anyone aged 16 years and over to consider
  • are a high quality, prestigious, alternative to the traditional academic career paths
  • offer fantastic employment and progression opportunities for up to Degree/Masters level

We are committed to developing the best talent and investing in building skills for the future. If you have drive, enthusiasm, curiosity and commitment, then an apprenticeship with us will give you valuable hands-on knowledge, experience and a qualification to succeed in your chosen career path.

We are taking on enthusiastic and motivated apprentices, at all levels, across the University, on all our campuses.  Apprentices at the University are a valued addition to our existing teams, and enhance skills to meet our existing and future skills gaps.  On successful completion of your apprenticeship you will have gained invaluable skills and qualifications and, most importantly, an unrivalled experience.
