Students and archaeologists worked hard yesterday to meet the deadline of the close of excavation this week. This season’s dig will end on Friday 24th August 2012. Yesterday’s Site Open Day to the public was cancelled due to flooding on the excavation site. Students and archaeologists have their fingers crossed that the weather improves for our final week of excavation next week.
