Research Centres

http://socialsciences.exeter.ac.uk/education/research/centres/

Link to our world-leading research centres. All centre leaders would welcome contact from individuals, schools or other organisations who would like to know more about our research in areas such as professional learning, creativity, SEND, social mobility, STEM and literacy.

We also run more informal research networks and again welcome partners to attend meetings or get together to discuss common interests.

Our current active research networks include:

Creativity and Emergent Educational-futures Network (CEEN)

CEEN seeks to bring together individuals with overlapping and intersecting philosophical orientations, ideologies and values that challenge the status quo on education.

Education Theory Reading Network

The aim of this network is to provide a platform for discussion centred around issues in education theory.

Language and Education Network

This network draws together researchers who have an interest in the relationship between language and education. This includes research into first and second language teaching and learning and research into the roles language plays in education more broadly.

Lesson Study Network

is network aims to promote understanding about lesson study and related practices (learning studies) in their contexts and across varied phases of education. Religion, Spirituality and Education Network This group brings together researchers with an interest in the areas of spirituality, religion and education and provides a space to explore and develop themes across these areas.
