Based on your workshop discussion, write a short piece focusing on ONE brief sequence of your choosing from Nosferatu (or, if you wish, any other German Expressionist film that you have seen). Explain briefly how you see evidence of Expressionist techniques in the clip.

In this piece, I want you to try to think carefully about how images (eg. paintings, film stills) can be used to support (rather than substitute for) your academic writing. As such, illustrate your discussion with images, and think about how you might use them to enrich the analytical points you are trying to make. Images can be things like screen shots, artworks, marketing materials, etc.
