New Publications: ‘Mechanochemical synthesis of carbon-stabilized Cu/C, Co/C and Ni/C nanocomposites with prolonged resistance to oxidation’ and ‘Tuning silicon-rich nitride microring resonances with graphene capacitors for high-performance computing applications’

Congratulations to CDT alumnus Dr Benjamin Hogan who has recently published two papers: the first, Mechanochemical synthesis of carbon-stabilized Cu/C, Co/C and Ni/C nanocomposites with prolonged resistance to oxidation, published in Scientific Reports; the second, Tuning silicon-rich nitride microring resonances with graphene capacitors for high-performance computing applications, published in Optics Express.

Tuning silicon-rich nitride microring resonances with graphene capacitors for high-performance computing applications was co-authored by current CDT PGRs Joaquin Faneca (in his final year) and Iago Rodriguez Diez (third year PGR).

Benjamin graduated in July 2019 and now works as a Research Fellow in the Department of Engineering at University of Exeter.
