Weddings have been one of the many casualties of COVID-19, and over the last few months many couples have had to postpone their big day. For most couples, it may have been expected that this would not have had any effect on their personal relationship or day-to-day life. However, in the context of a pandemic some couples may not have the luxury of time. Drawing inspiration from innovative ways of holding weddings from around the world, this research looks at how the law could be adapted to allow weddings to go ahead without putting any of those attending at risk.
