Papers related to the International Conference on Microwave Magnetics 2018 in IEEE Magnetics Letters

You may submit your four-page paper (plus one additional page allowed for acknowledgments and references), whether contributed or invited, for publication in IEEE Magnetics Letters (IML) any time before the conference until 1 August 2018.  If you are giving an invited talk, your article should not be a review; rather, it should contain mostly new results, as is appropriate for a letters journal. Templates are available at <http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/authors/author_templates.html>.

The regular editors will manage the review process. If your article is accepted, it will be published on-line, in preprint form, immediately after full peer review and your revisions. Several weeks later, it will appear as fully edited and typeset. Each paper will have its own article number and its own dates of submission and publication. IML is known for providing authors with prompt, helpful reviews. There is no charge for publication.

Most articles will have a heading such as “Microwave Magnetics” or “Spin Electronics” and a footnote, “International Conference on Microwave Magnetics, University of Exeter, Devon, UK, 24-27 June 2018.” Except for the footnote, the format of your article will be indistinguishable from that of any other IML article. It will not be part of a conference proceedings. Each article will be open access for anyone for 10 days after publication. There is no charge for publication.

The URL for article submission is <http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/maglet-ieee>.  In Step 1 of the submission process, please select as the Manuscript Type: “Microwave Magnetics,” “Spin Electronics,” or the subject area closest to that of your article. In Step 2, under Conference-Related Articles, please select “ICMM – International Conference on Microwave Magnetics.”

The IML website for published articles is <http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/RecentIssue.jsp?reload=true&punumber=5165412>IML is tracked by all major indexing services, including Web of Science and Scopus. The average time from submission to preprint publication is 4 weeks.
