Metals and Radioactive Substance Bioremediation – a child centric microbiology education framework

There is an urgent need for microbiology literacy in society, see https://sfam.org.uk/knowledge/policy/applied-microbiology-matters/microbiology-literacy-knowledge-framework.html. I contributed a topic framework on “metals and radioactive substances bioremediation” (2021). This can be used to help teach how microbiology impacts our everyday lives, and how microbiology can contribute towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
