The Devon Climate Emergency / Devon Carbon Plan
In the final workshop of the Ruby Country Net-Zero Farming Forum we drew on the learning and discussions from the previous five weeks to identify actions which Forum members individually and collectively would support to deliver against net-zero targets in the Ruby Country and the recommendations which they would like to pass onto policy makers and researchers in Devon about how they can support Ruby Country beef farmers and farming in this transition.
Ahead of the workshop, Forum members were asked to watch presentations which looked at two different routes for their produce and how the environmental footprint of the animals they reared will be taken into account going forward by processors, retailers and consumers.
