Project Aims
The TIME Project was launched in 2003 as a nationwide collaboration to recruit and investigate patients with the recently recognised syndrome of Transient Epileptic Amnesia (TEA).
The TIME Project has two principle aims:
- To study the key clinical, neuropsychological and neuroradiological features of TEA
- To investigate how persistent interictal memory problems experienced by patients with TEA, particularly accelerated long-term forgetting (ALF) and remote autobiographical memory loss, may inform our understanding of memory impairment in the wider population of patients with epilepsy.
