After completing her physics PhD,Tayyibe Bardakçi started her master education at Istanbul Medical Faculty, Department of Medical History and Ethics and completed her thesis on the ethical dimension of human enhancement. She has been working as coordinator at Beşikçizade Center for Medical Humanities (BETIM) since 2017, and has been involved in the organisation of various events (symposia, workshops, and lecture series, etc.) related to bioethics. She has been lecturing at Istinye University (Istanbul) since 2018. Her research interests focus on ethical dimension of technologies such as human enhancement, technology-human interaction, big data and artificial intelligence applications.
