No overnight borrowing 26th – 29th April

Our self-service machines have been identified as being at high risk of a malware infection.  As a result they will be out of use 26th – 29th April.  There will be no overnight borrowing during this period.

Staff can issue books from the enquiry point on Level 0 of the Forum library 8.00am – 8.00pm including this weekend.  Books can be returned via the drop boxes at Forum, St Luke’s and Old Library.

We apologise for the inconvenience whilst this essential work takes place.

Need access to a University library away from Exeter?

Members of University of Exeter Library can apply to use other UK academic libraries via the SCONUL Access Scheme.

Who is eligible to apply?

  •     Academic & Support Staff
  •     Full time and Part time PhD student
  •     Full time and Part time Undergraduate
  •     Full Time and Part time Postgraduate
  •     Placement Student

Apply online via SCONUL Access:

  1. Wait to receive SCONUL Access approval email
  2. Follow instructions in the email
  3. Read the SCONUL Access User Guide
  4. Check with host institution before visiting, if you have queries

Exam revision – use of silent study spaces

A reminder that during this period of revision everyone should respect their fellow students by adhering to the exam like conditions in designated silent study spaces as outlined below:

  • No conversation
  • No sound from headphones
  • No hot / smelly / noisy food
  • All drinks must have lids
  • Mobile phones set to silent
  • Please use breakout spaces to snack

Additionally we would remind everyone that no hot food should be brought into the Library.  Your cooperation is much appreciated.
