FAQ

What is the latest time in the evening for check-in on campus? What are the facilities?

On all Campus accommodation, the reception is open until 11pm. After this time a notice is placed on the front door and late arrivals are asked to contact the 24hr patrol team on +44 (0) 1392 723999. Answers to most frequent Campus Accommodation queries can be found here and in the Delegate Joining Information pack.

I will need a visa support letter. How do I request it?

Please register and then provide the details demanded here.

At what time does the meeting expect to break on Friday? What will be scheduled on the Friday afternoon, at the end of the conference?

The Symposium is expected to break at 5:10 pm on Friday 21st of July, see latest Agenda. The general schedule follows the scientific program and so Friday afternoon features session 8b and round tables, followed by summaries.  The details of the Symposium will start to become clearer around mid-April 2017, following the reviewing process and communication of selected oral contributions to participants. On departure, we plan to organise shuttle bus pick-ups (check updates) mainly to the Exeter airport and the Exeter St Davids Station.

I have missed the abstract submission deadline. Can I still submit an abstract?

We have kept the Stage 1 open for late poster abstract submissions until 27th April 2017, which coincides with the extended Early Registration Deadline. Please prepare your abstract with the doc template file and submit your file in the format demanded in Stage 1. Due to limited space, acceptance of late poster abstracts received after the 5th March extended deadline will be decided on a first-come, first-served basis.

I cannot complete the Stage 1 of registration or I cannot upload my abstract. What should I do?

It has been apparent that some delegates have been experiencing problems with the online registration server, particularly so with the uploading of documents. If you encounter the issue, please first try another browser (e.g. Chrome instead of Safari). If this is still not solving the issue, please complete Stage 1 for all sections that are appropriate to you (including title, session, etc), but without attaching the document(s). You will then be able to proceed without any problem. Once you have received an email confirming your successful completion of Stage 1, please either use the contact form or email your abstract document(s) to Miss Emma Clarke at , quoting your booking reference / order number e.g EXE000000.
