Without this, the alternative transport can be:

Travel by bus or taxi to/from Exeter Airport to the city centre and the University Campus: the bus costs a few pounds and runs into the city centre, but does not run late; the taxi costs about £25.

Bus Service: 56 (56A 56B) operated by Stagecoach

Apple Taxis: T +44 (0) 1932 666 666

Catch the H/D bus:

From the town centre the D bus comes direct to the University from the High Street or just outside the Exeter Central Station in Queen Street.

For those arriving by train or in Premier Inn Exeter Central St Davids the H bus runs from Exeter St Davids Station via Cowley Bridge to the campus.

Download the University Transport Guide with the D and H bus routes (PDF) and the D and H bus timetables (PDF).

Car Parking

Car parking on campus is limited. Campus residents can be issued a car parking permit from their accommodation reception upon arrival. We will also issue car parking permits if requested in advance during the registration process. Note however that there is limited parking on campus, and that a permit does not guarantee finding a spot.

Without a permit, visitors will need to use the Pay and Display spots or visitors parking and pay for a day permit or find alternative parking arrangements outside of campus. Please note that parking in Prince of Wales Road and Streatham Drive is owned by the City Council and not the University and that there is a fee for parking here (street meters). The parkopedia website lists all parking in the area. Note that no. 38 on this map is not available. The nearest public car park is Isca Place at the top of Queen’s Street, near the clock tower, a 15-minute walk from campus. Howell Road, King Williams Street, Longbrook Street, the Guildhall Centre, and Mary Arches Street car parks are all large public car parks in the city centre.

As car parking is extremely limited, and to avoid any upset on the days we strongly advise that any delegates consider walking or catching a bus.
